This is a pivotal leadership role within a well-established, multi-office professional services business. Supporting a national team, you will take ownership of finance, administration, and operational coordination, while leading a small but high-performing support team.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, contributing to both day-to-day operations and broader business decision‐making.
What you'll be doing
Finance & Reporting
* Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership
* Managing end-to-end accounts including AP, AR, payroll support and reconciliations
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
* Providing insights to support commercial decision-making
Operations & Administration
* Leading and coordinating administrative functions across multiple offices
* Driving consistency in processes, systems, and service delivery
* Managing suppliers, office operations, and internal systems
* Ensuring smooth day‐to‐day business operations nationally
Team Leadership
* Leading, mentoring and developing a small administration and finance team
* Allocating workload and improving team efficiency
* Building a strong, service-oriented internal support function
HR & Compliance
* Supporting onboarding, contracts, and employee documentation
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality
* Assisting with policies, compliance, and workplace processes
* Acting as a key point of contact for internal staff queries
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a similar Administration Manager, Office Manager or Finance/Operations role
* Strong exposure to finance coordination (reporting, AP/AR, budgeting support)
* Proven ability to lead or mentor a small team
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator who can engage across all levels of a business
* High level of discretion and professionalism
