HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANICS / FITTERS - WELLINGTON, NSW
BDS Mechanical has a casual position with option for full-time after 3 months for Diesel Mechanics or Fitters to join our team in Wellington, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, reputable, and stable company.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
* Relevant trade qualification
* Diagnostic experience
* Strong fault-finding skills
* Heavy earthmoving / CAT dozer experience
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* HR license (required)
* Aircon ticket (required)
* White card (required)
Your duties will include:
* Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
* General Repairs/maintenance works on heavy machinery
* Replacing engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
* Checking vehicle lighting systems
* Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
* Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
