About the Role

In this key role you will manage a portfolio of internal clients by building and maintaining relationships with managers and employees. Responsibilities will include:

  • Complete day-to-day People and Culture functions and duties including onboarding, employee relations, Award, and agreement interpretation.
  • Assist in advising and supporting managers, supervisors and employees with People and Culture queries, including performance concerns, disciplinary cases, grievances, legislative requirements, and other IR matters.
  • Develop, maintain and be a role model for a culture among staff that is open to change and supports continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement and streamlining of internal People and Culture policies and practices.
  • Provide sound advice in relation to policy development.
  • Administrative tasks related to People and Culture and payroll.

About You

Criteria:

  • Degree or Diploma of Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Current unencumbered Driver's Licence.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant experience in providing advice and support across the broad spectrum of human resource management and industrial relations.
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of employment law and applicable legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, conflict and grievance resolution processes.
