About the Role
Mackay Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work on the Medical G2 Ward for a short-term placement. This adult medical unit provides care to patients across multiple specialties including Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, and Acute General Medicine.
The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team in a 28-30 bed ward, delivering high-quality patient-centred care in a supportive hospital environment.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration required)
* Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in a similar medical setting
* Current clinical currency in practice
* Good computer literacy skills
Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency using the system
* Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health, and/or Mackay HHS
