Make a real dent in how teachers teach and students learn. I’m partnering with a well-established Australian-born EdTech SaaS (serving K–12 and higher education) that’s scaling fast. They’ve just launched a new flagship product and are doubling down on growth across NSW/ACT. We’re hiring a high-energy BDM to own a key territory and build momentum.

What you’ll be doing
- Own the territory : drive net-new logos across schools (and selected tertiary), while expanding within existing accounts.
- Create pipeline : build strategic outreach, run campaigns, and convert discovery to demos to deals.
- Tell the story : uncover needs and tailor value propositions for curriculum leaders, ICT, and exec sponsors.
- Forecast & report : manage a clean pipeline in Salesforce/CRM and hit (or beat) monthly/quarterly targets.
- Be out there : travel in-territory for meetings, events, and product demos; act as a genuine brand advocate.
- Collaborate : work closely with marketing and the local sales team to test, learn, and scale what works.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years’ closing experience in SaaS or adjacent tech (EdTech/education exposure a plus, not a must).
- True hunter mindset: proactive, upbeat, and comfortable opening doors from scratch.
- Territory planning discipline and time management you’re proud of.
- Credible communicator across multiple stakeholders (teachers to execs).
- Data-curious: you use metrics to prioritise and improve.
- Salesforce/CRM experience and solid forecasting habits.
- Willing to travel across your patch when needed.
- Hybrid working with flexible hours.
