**The role**
Reporting to the Pet Health Team Leader, you will be responsible for administering claims in a timely manner while delivering consistently high levels of customer service.
As a team member, you will:
- Support our pet owners through their claims experience, showing genuine care,
- Be responsible for the accurate management and assessment of claims,
- Interpret medical veterinary histories in conjunction with policy documentation to make accurate decisions around coverage with a focus on proactive decision making,
- Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with internal policies and procedures
**What experience you'll bring**
- Confidence to take responsibility for claims determination and acceptance
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a warm and empathetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- A keenness to learn and develop
- A strong team player who works well in collaboration with others and actively participate in team discussions and activities in a positive and engaging way
- Certified Veterinary Nursing qualifications is highly desirable but not a requirement.
