BCI WA is a well-established Perth-based building consultancy and inspection company providing residential, commercial, strata and government building inspection services throughout Western Australia.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part‐Time Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to help grow our business, strengthen our brand, and support our administration team when required.
This is a diverse and hands‐on role that would suit someone who enjoys marketing, relationship building, content creation and business development, while also being willing to assist with office administration and customer enquiries during busy periods.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing initiatives designed to increase brand awareness, strengthen client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
You will also provide occasional front desk support, including answering phones and scheduling inspections when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain marketing databases and contact lists.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Conduct follow‐up calls to prospective and existing clients.
- Develop sales and marketing collateral, brochures and promotional materials.
- Create website content and assist with ongoing website development.
- Coordinate SEO initiatives and online marketing activities.
- Source, collect and publish customer reviews and testimonials.
- Review and improve customer experience processes.
- Create engaging content for websites, newsletters and social media platforms.
- Coordinate short‐form video content and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with branding and brand development initiatives.
- Attend industry events, networking functions and trade exhibitions.
- Coordinate sponsorship opportunities and community engagement activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, real estate agencies, strata managers, government agencies and industry stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and strategic partnerships.
Administration Support
- Answer incoming phone enquiries professionally.
- Schedule building inspections and consultant appointments.
- Assist with client communications and customer service enquiries.
- Support the administration team during periods of high demand or staff leave.
About You
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in marketing, business development or communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time‐management abilities.
- Experience using Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
- Experience with website content management systems.
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
- Confidence speaking with clients and conducting follow‐up calls.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A professional and friendly manner when dealing with clients.
Desirable Skills
- Graphic design experience.
- Photography and video editing skills.
- Social media marketing experience.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of the building, construction, property or strata industries.
