Position Overview
The Key Account Development position is responsible for acquiring, managing and growing relationships with Calco’s key clients. This role requires a strong mix of sales, business development, and account management skills, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions, achieving sales targets, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives through proactive account planning and business development.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and support new client acquisition.
- Develop proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts in line with company policies.
- Account Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with client business goals and Calco’s growth strategy.
- Work closely with design, technical, and manufacturing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing insights to management.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and business drivers.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, handling escalations and resolving issues effectively.
- Project Delivery & Support
- Oversee project execution and solution implementation within key accounts.
- Ensure smooth delivery, service quality, and after-sales support in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account reports to management.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in key account management, B2B sales of new home construction related products.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
