The role
Advanced Trainee – Endocrine & Metabolic Medicine
CALHN – Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) – The Queen Elizabeth & Royal Adelaide Hospitals, Endocrine & Metabolic Unit.
Salary: MDP2 $99,707 to $158,523 p.a. + super + salary packaging.
Placement: Multiple 6‐month & 12‐month full‐time training placements available, start dates from 01/02/2027.
Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement). At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist in finding a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3‐year contract, if necessary.

- Contribute to research, quality improvement and education activities.
- Build strong links with community health providers and training organisations.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and support safe, patient‐centered care.
About You
You are a motivated trainee with a passion for Endocrine and Metabolic Medicine and a commitment to safe, high quality patient care. You thrive in collaborative clinical environments, value feedback and bring strong communication and organisational skills to a busy healthcare setting.
- MBBS or equivalent with General Registration.
- Passed FRACP PartI written and clinical exams.
- Deliver safe, patient‐centered clinical care.
- Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Adapt well, manage priorities and value feedback.
