We're working with a global cybersecurity software vendor looking for a Resident Security Engineer to support enterprise customers across ANZ / SEA.
What you'll be doing:
* Support, monitor and maintain security software platforms in enterprise customer environments
* Troubleshoot issues, assist with upgrades, and provide product optimisation guidance
* Act as a trusted technical advisor, consulting customers on best practice and adoption
* Work closely with Sales, Support, Customer Success, Product and Engineering teams
* Support customers across network security, firewall management, and cloud security environments
* Identify opportunities for platform expansion and customer growth
* Provide occasional onsite support and travel across the region
What we're looking for:
* Experience in a technical support / resident engineer / security engineering role
* Strong background in Linux/Unix environments
* Experience with networking and firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point etc.)
* Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud security
* Strong customer-facing communication and troubleshooting skills
* Experience supporting enterprise or global customers highly regarded
* Scripting, APIs or automation knowledge is a bonus (Python, REST, Shell)
