Cloud AI Software Engineering Lead

As part of our Business Banking Technology team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with emerging technologies to support our strategy through world-class engineering capability.

Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions that integrate seamlessly into other teams' workflows and products.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle complex technical problems, contributing to design and implementation to ensure quality engineering outcomes.
* Delivering robust and reusable solutions that enhance productivity through the effective application of AI/ML and Gen AI.
* Developing applications using .NET framework, JavaScript frameworks, APIs, and databases such as Aurora.
* Experimenting with emerging AI assisted engineering tools and cloud services, providing feedback and insights from real-world testing.
* Actively participating in code reviews, maintaining high-quality codebases, and assisting in documentation for knowledge sharing.
* Working on cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment, and addressing inter-dependencies.
* Coaching and mentoring junior members in the team.
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
* Extensive experience in designing and implementing software solutions.
* Working knowledge of AI/ML and Gen AI applications and how they can enhance software engineering processes to improve productivity.
* Experience developing applications using various frameworks and databases.
* Experience building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, or C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
* A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and daily usage of AI coding assistants.
* Strong technical leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems.
* Ability to provide technical direction to teams, reviewing designs and code to ensure best practices.
* Proficiency in agile development methodologies and iterative experimentation.
