About the Role
The Application Engineer primarily focuses on specialised protection and control application support.
This role involves detailed design work, including material selection, panel drawings, relay configuration files, protection setting reports, Factory Acceptance Tests, site investigations, and commissioning support. You will collaborate with key suppliers to resolve customer hardware and software inquiries.
You will work with the sales team to communicate product benefits and differentiators to customers, assist in preparing quotations and tender responses, and conduct technology workshops for both external and internal clients.
Providing excellent customer service that exceeds client expectations is essential. You will foster positive relationships and contribute to strategic development around current and emerging technologies in protection and control. The role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual eager to expand clients' knowledge of our products, services, and solutions.

Comfortable with problem-solving, challenging ideas, and asking insightful questions, you have experience in high-paced environments and are adept at data analysis and collaboration. Qualifications and Experience
Recognised Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree
Preferably 3+ years of experience in power system consulting, vendor, or utility sectors
Experience in detailed protection and control design
Genuine interest in managing and designing protection and control systems
Understanding of power system requirements and challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
