What we are looking for:
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Water Industry Plant Operator/Labourer to assist in maintaining and constructing water and wastewater systems. The ideal candidate should be able to perform manual labour tasks, work safely in confined spaces, and have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
What your day will look like:
* Contribute to the undertaking of construction/ maintenance activities by operating a range of machinery and equipment e.g. high pressure sewer cleaning machine, electric eels, CCTV push camera.
* All maintenance and repair of water and wastewater infrastructure undertaken to quality standard
* Assist in the construction and installation of water and wastewater assets to quality standard

What you’ll need for success:
* Experience with high pressure cleaning equipment, ideally within the wastewater environment
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisations (or willingness to undertake immunisations within one month of commencement)

* Provide First Aid/CPR
* Work Safely at Heights
* Trim and Cut Felled Trees (Chainsaw Level 2)
* High risk work licence (Forklift operation)
* Traffic Implementation (Level 2)
* SWNELP
* Confined Spaces Certification
