The firm works with a diverse clientele including individuals, small businesses, and trusts providing tailored financial guidance and full compliance with Australian tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
* Assist with BAS, GST, and FBT preparation and lodgment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Manage and review financial records and reports in line with accounting standards.
* Conduct tax research and stay up to date with changes in Australian taxation laws.
* Support the delivery of tax planning and advisory services, offering proactive client solutions.
* Ensure all documentation and lodgments are completed accurately and on time.
* Collaborate with and learn from senior tax accountants, contributing to team development and client satisfaction.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of Australian Taxation including Tax Returns, BAS, GST, and FBT.
* Experience using MYOB AE (Accountants Enterprise) or similar accounting software.
* Prior experience in public practice accounting in Australia.
* CA/CPA qualified or currently undertaking studies.
* Strong attention to detail, communication, and client service skills.
