Step into a structured finance role supporting aged care and disability billing and purchasing.
Responsibilities
* Processing billing for aged care and disability programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Monitoring billing activity and identifying discrepancies, missing information, or budget variances
* Investigating and resolving billing issues in collaboration with internal teams
* Preparing and issuing monthly statements and maintaining accurate financial records
* Raising and processing purchase orders in line with organisational procedures
* Supporting accounts payable, including invoice processing and reconciliation
* Assisting with accounts receivable, payroll support, and travel administration as required
* Maintaining financial documentation in line with compliance, audit, and reporting requirements
* Supporting financial reporting, audits, and general finance administration
* Providing support and backup across key finance functions to ensure continuity of operations
Qualifications
* You will bring at least 2 years' experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role where you have been responsible for processing financial transactions, managing records, and working with systems and data.
* A qualification in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a related field will be well regarded, but is not essential if you have demonstrated relevant experience.
* Experience in financial administration, billing, accounts payable or receivable
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confidence working with financial systems and the ability to learn new software
* Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
* Experience working with aged care or NDIS billing systems will be highly regarded, but is not essential
