We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer – Signalling to join our Perth-based team and play a key role in expanding our signalling capability across Western Australia and interstate rail projects!
This is a senior technical role with real influence across project delivery, assurance, and stakeholder engagement, suited to someone who enjoys combining hands‐on engineering with technical leadership.
The Role
* Provide technical leadership and governance across signalling projects
* Lead and/or review signalling designs, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project requirements
* Undertake and oversee design verification and validation activities
* Apply and interpret EN 50126/8/9 and other local and international relevant standards
* Engage effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulators
* Support business growth by contributing to capability development, tenders, and technical strategies
* Mentor and support junior and senior engineers within the signalling discipline
About You
* Degree-qualified engineer (Electrical, Electronic, Systems or similar) with strong rail signalling experience
* CBTC and/or ETCS experience highly regarded
* Technical Specifications for Interoperability for Control Command and Signalling experience highly regarded
* Solid background in design verification and validation
* Confident stakeholder manager across multidisciplinary environments
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
