Join a developer transforming aged care and independent living environments amongst other sectors. Our client is a well-established property developer delivering projects across aged care and independent living amongst other sectors. Their current portfolio includes a range of new residential construction, infrastructure upgrades, complex refurbishments and improvements across multiple states.
They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Assistant Development Manager to support their team in delivering a diverse range of projects — from major developments valued at $80m+ as part of a much larger pipeline of work to an ongoing minor capital works program exceeding $10 million annually. This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain deep exposure across the full development lifecycle in a mission-driven environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with Development Managers to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery across multiple concurrent projects. You will contribute to project planning, delivery, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting across various asset types and stages.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field
* 3+ years' experience in property development, construction management, or project management
* Solid understanding of the property development lifecycle from concept through to completion
* Experience in supporting or managing construction projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use)
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, ideally Argus EstateMaster)
* Familiarity with budgeting, cost management and construction scheduling
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder coordination and negotiation ability
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Results-driven mindset and the ability to manage competing deadlines
