In Australia alone, we have a presence on over 45 mining operations, and, due to continued growth and internal movement, we currently require an experienced OTR Site Supervisor for our Brockman 4 operations in WA:
The Position
The Supervisor roles will provide a high level of continuous service on site by supporting the operations of the workshop, office, stock and personnel, and will also ensure the contracted scope of work is performed and maintained to a high standard. Provide visible leadership by interacting and engaging with your team by maximising your time in the tyre bay where you will have more opportunity to coach and mentor team members.
The Role:
Based at Brockman 4
8:6 – 7:7 roster
12.5 hr days
Leading team of 2 tyre technicians, 1 leading hand
Great tyre bay and facilities
Modern camp with gym, pool, golf nets, tennis & basketball court
Komatsu 830E Primary Fleet
Flight options from Perth, Geraldton, Busselton or Albany
Duties Include:
Prioritising and directing personnel through your leading hand to perform tyre fitting and workshop maintenance tasks in the most efficient, safe and cost-effective manner
Maintaining a safe and efficient workforce by providing constructive and positive feedback as well as provide initiatives for increased safety and performance
Demonstrating a high level of supervision to ensure all safety systems are present
Leading by example to ensure all personnel comply with site and company policies, procedures, instructions and Golden Rules
Actively promoting a safety culture across site operations that targets zero harm to personnel and the environment
About You:
Minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites
A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/ AUR21920
A valid HR Driving licence
A current WorkSafe forklift licence
Statutory 26 Advantageous
Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work autonomously
