NX Solutions is a rapidly expanding provider of telecommunications and infrastructure services across fibre, civil, wireless, and enterprise projects. As we scale our delivery capability, we are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Manager to oversee high-value, complex project initiatives and provide essential support to our Managing Director.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of large-scale projects, and excels at coordinating multiple streams of work.
You'll oversee major fibre, civil, and telecom infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, working closely with our Technical Field Manager to ensure field execution aligns with project goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of major fibre, telecommunications, and civil infrastructure projects
* Develop project schedules, milestones, budgets, and delivery plans
* Lead client communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
* Manage project risk, variations, change requests, and compliance requirements
* Support the Managing Director with strategic project oversight and governance
* Work closely with the Technical Field Manager to align field operations and resource allocation
* Oversee site readiness, quality control, safety compliance, and progress tracking
* Manage procurement, subcontractors, and commercial deliverables
What You Bring
* 5+ years experience in project management within telco, fibre, civil, or utilities
* Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large-scale budgets
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Solid understanding of fibre networks, civil works, or telecom infrastructure
* Ability to interpret technical documentation, plans, and designs
* Experience coordinating field resources and multi-disciplinary teams
* High level of organisation, problem solving, and leadership capability
