Royal Hobart Hospital is Tasmania's largest hospital, and the Diabetes Centre within the RHH is the tertiary referral centre for people with diabetes requiring diabetes education in the Southern Tasmania region.

The Role :
The clinical outpatient assistant maintains a clean and hygienic environment according to infection control standards in outpatient clinical and staff areas.
They contribute to a patient-focused service by undertaking duties that support clinical staff for a safe and efficient area.
You will need :
Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders, patients, and families/carers.
Participation in Work Health & Safety processes, including safety system development, service improvement initiatives, and relevant training.
Clerical duties such as hospital meter audits and support for hospital accreditation.
Details of appointment :
This is a permanent, full-time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible.
Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Note: The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies within twelve months of the initial posting.
Salary :
The salary range is $62,486 to $65,119 per annum, plus an employer superannuation contribution of 11.5%.
This is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
