Traffic Engineer

As a Traffic Engineer, you will work within project teams to support project delivery through undertaking transport analysis, designs and solutions for development and infrastructure projects. This involves tasks such as area wide transport demand analysis, detailed demand and operational assessment for development, road and transport infrastructure projects.
* You will have recognised tertiary qualifications in relevant fields like engineering, transport planning, town planning or mathematics.
* A minimum of 2+ years of experience in traffic engineering is required, preferably within a consulting business environment.
* Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and experience with SIDRA Intersection and/or similar modelling packages are essential.
* Road Safety Audit and Traffic Impact Assessment experience would be advantageous.
* You should also have experience considering all modes in transport assessments including people who walk and ride.
This role requires responsibility for predicting and planning future resourcing, leading small-medium sized projects, and contributing to multiple concurrent projects.
