About the job Senior Agile Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Provide direction and leadership for the Project.
2. Align the project with the goals and objectives of the business.
3. Conduct project planning and identify milestones.
4. Define an appropriately detailed integrated project plan for cost, time and quality for the agreed scope.
5. Define and manage dependencies of the project with other on-going initiatives.
6. Monitor milestones and evaluate progress.
7. Identify variances in project progress and take corrective actions.
8. Assure proper coordination of all line and staff elements to make the project a success.
9. Assess and report project status, e.g. cost, schedule, quality and risks, to the business initiative manager and senior management.
10. Manage project risks as per the Risk Management processes specified within PMP.
11. Ensure knowledge dissemination among team members and contribution from the project to organisational knowledge management system.
12. Accountable for achieving the objectives of the project as defined and agreed to in the Project Management Plan.
13. Review status regularly and recommend corrective actions (for risks, issues, deviations).
14. Perform Delivery Completion Review at the end of the project with the Project Manager and Project Owner.
15. If specified, ensure the Requirements Traceability Matrix is maintained.
16. Adhere to all PMO Norms.
Skills Required:
1. Minimum 5 years of recent relevant experience leading and managing complex projects with multiple dependencies end to end.
2. Prince2, PMBoK, Agile or other recognised Project Management certification.
3. High degree of stakeholder management experience Executive Level reporting and Communication Skills and experience.
4. Knowledge and use of Agile delivery methods and tools (i.e., JIRA and Confluence).
