Danone is seeking a commercially savvy and collaborative Key Account Manager to lead our partnerships with Woolworths and Costco within our Specialised Nutrition division. In this permanent role, reporting to the Channel Lead‐Grocery (SN), you will be responsible for delivering financial objectives, managing customer engagement, and executing aligned initiatives that drive sustainable and profitable growth. You will work cross‐functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to deliver results and build strong relationships with key retail partners.
Responsibilities
* Deliver sales results in line with financial targets for Woolworths and Costco.
* Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of Joint Customer Plans (JCPs) and eJCPs to drive sustainable growth.
* Build a deep understanding of customers and their shoppers, translating insights into actionable business plans.
* Champion the Range Review process to achieve distribution gains for core and emerging categories (e.g., Adult Nutrition, Fussy Eating).
* Manage forecasting and delivery of customer financial performance, identifying and acting on risks and opportunities.
* Oversee promotional claims, payments, and trade spend, ensuring compliance with Danone's processes and budget.
* Lead commercial negotiations (e.g., price increases, terms agreements) to create value for Danone and our customers.
* Evaluate and optimise trade spend activity, delivering "test and learn" case studies.
* Drive the execution of new product launches, category, brand, and channel activities in line with business priorities and customer plans.
* Deliver against key in‐store and online metrics, including distribution, share of shelf, availability, and promotional impact.
* Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards, including WHO & MAIF codes and Danone's Green & Blue Book.
* Act as a commercial ambassador for Danone, contributing to a high‐performing, collaborative sales team culture.
About You
You are a results‐driven and collaborative Key Account professional with a passion for customer engagement and commercial excellence. You thrive in a fast‐paced FMCG environment and are committed to delivering breakthrough results.
Ideally, you will have
* A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
* 2+ years' experience in Key Account Management (KAM) preferably within the FMCG or Consumer Health industry.
* Experience in Field Sales, Category Management, or Trade/Consumer Marketing.
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a passion for development.
* Experience with the Infant Nutrition or Consumer Health categories is highly regarded.
* Excellent cross‐functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
