About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Consultant to join our team in any of our Australian Offices in Canberra. As a member of the technical support team, you'll interact directly with the Federal Government Client and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You'll be responsible for the support of Data Analytic Platforms within contracted time frames and service level agreements. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required, and participation in an on-call roster for after-hours support.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Consultant, you will:
* Provide technical maintenance and support services within agreed service levels.
* Maintain technical documentation.
* Use tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure their service level agreements are met.
* Proactively manage customer infrastructure and drive service process improvement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll bring at least 3 years' experience as a System Administrator with Linux infrastructure and Cloud Computing. Your technical experience should include:
* Experience across Linux operating systems.
* Experience supporting Statistical Analysis System (SAS) software.
* Database skills.
* Networking skills.
* Cloud computing and certification.
* Python/R Programming, PowerShell scripting, Bash scripting.
* Troubleshooting.
Your customer focus and communication skills will be a strength, along with an ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships, and networks. We are keen to hear of your troubleshooting, problem-solving experience, your understanding of public cloud platforms, and agile operations.
