Job Title: Regional Research And Development Specialist
The Regional Research and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of crop protection methodologies. This position involves conducting thorough field trials, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced researcher/agronomist to join our team and drive progress in the crop protection industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and executing comprehensive field trials to assess the efficacy of various crop protection methods
* Analyzing trial data and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner
* Negotiating with stakeholders to identify and secure suitable trial sites
* Maintaining effective relationships with key partners, including Department of Agriculture, CSIRO, University researchers, RDC, and customer technical staff
Requirements:
* Agricultural Science Degree or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a researcher/agronomist in subtropical and temperate broadacre and horticulture
* Proficiency in statistical computer programs and ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
* Excellent report writing skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
