Job Details 5 Day Nanny Educator (15852) Deebing Heights Rate: $40.30 - $43.01 (L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf) 5 days per week with a child aged 8 years Monday: 11:30 am - 6:30 pm Tuesday: 11:30 am - 6:30 pm Wednesday: 11:30 am - 6:30 pm Thursday: 11:30 am - 6:30 pm Friday: 11:30am-6:30pm *If the perfect educator only wants 3 or 4 days, they should still apply* *Flexible with start and finish times to suit the educator* This family would like: This family is hoping to find an Educator who genuinely understands neurodiversity and can bring out the best in their busy, outdoorsy 8 year old. The child thrives with movement, hands-on exploration, and plenty of sunshine, so the ideal Educator will happily lean into active play and weave the child’s interests into meaningful learning opportunities. The child enjoys trampolining, bike riding, ball games, running, and engaging with sensory elements such as sand and bark. The Educator will be responsible for supporting the child’s development across self-help skills, social and emotional growth, positive social interactions, and everyday role modelling. A Positive Behaviour Support Plan is already in place, offering a range of strategies that work well for this child. The successful Educator will feel confident following the plan, adapting their practice, and working alongside the family to create a consistent and supportive environment. The hours for school holidays will be different 7:30am-5:30pm Monday and Friday. You must: - Have obtained or are working towards your Cert III, Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree in Primary Education and are registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state - Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references. - Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid - Have a car & driver's licence - Be willing to commit for at least 12 months - Full working rights in Australia.
