As the IT Support Officer (Level 1), you will provide first‐line technical support to UNE Life staff across all areas of the organisation. Communication Review Project – Expression of Interest

Lead our Communications Review: We are seeking an experienced Communications Professional to undertake a comprehensive Communications Review for UNE Life.
About this project
The engagement covers a full communications audit across all channels and materials, stakeholder consultation (internal and external), development of a Communications Strategy and Framework, a Brand Voice and Messaging Guide, a Digital and Social Media Strategy, a Crisis Communications Protocol, and a presentation of findings to the UNE Life Executive.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in communications strategy for comparable organisations, a clear and quality methodology, relevant qualifications and expertise, and an understanding of the higher education, not‐for‐profit, or community services sector.

We're seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead our events, catering and venue operations.
About the role
This is a hands‐on leadership position where you'll drive exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence and commercial performance. You'll oversee all hospitality services—from events and functions to catering and venue management—working closely with our Head Chef and leading a dedicated team.
* Lead and deliver high‐quality hospitality services across events, catering, functions and venues
* Manage and develop a multi‐disciplinary team, fostering a high‐performance culture
* Drive commercial performance through smart budgeting, revenue optimisation and cost management
* Oversee event planning and execution, building strong stakeholder relationships
* Ensure all operations comply with food safety, RSA, WHS and licensing requirements
* Champion continuous improvement through data‐driven decision‐making
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in hospitality, venue or food & beverage management
* Strong leadership skills with a track record managing service‐based teams
* Commercial acumen and proven budget management experience
* Event and function management expertise
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Current NSW driving licence, RSA competency card and First Aid certification
* Willingness to undertake Liquor Licence training and be appointed as Liquor Approved Manager
