Adelaide Mum's and Babies Clinic (AMBC) is a specialist-focused general practice dedicated to providing high-quality, relationship-based care for women, infants, children and families. Due to sustained patient demand, we are seeking General Practitioners aligned to our values and model of care.
AMBC was established to challenge rushed, transactional medicine. The clinic is purpose-built around longer consultations, continuity of care, and supporting families through critical life stages including pregnancy, early parenting, childhood development and women's health across the lifespan.
Our team is deeply passionate about improving health outcomes for women and children and creating a sustainable, supportive environment for clinicians. This commitment was recognised nationally when the clinic was named a Telstra Best of Business Awards winner for Accelerating Women, reflecting its leadership in advancing women's health, workforce participation, and clinician wellbeing.
Care is delivered through a private billing model, supported by robust systems, strong administration, and a genuinely collegial culture.
Role & Responsibilities
* Deliver relationship-based, patient-centred care to women, infants and children
* Manage a broad range of general practice presentations
* Contribute to continuity of care within a collaborative clinical team
* Maintain high clinical and documentation standards
* Work autonomously while engaging with a supportive practice environment
Skills & Experience
* FRACGP or FACRRM
* Strong interest or experience in women's health and paediatrics (Diplomas in Child Health and/or Obstetrics, and Obstetric Shared Care Accreditation is welcomed)
* Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC), or the Possums Program, training or knowledge is advantageous but not essential
* Additional skills in skin cancer medicine or dermatology welcomed
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
* Confidence working independently within a close-knit team
Hours & Flexibility
* Afternoons, evenings and/or Saturday sessions available
* Session numbers and days negotiable
* Suitable for GPs seeking flexibility or to complement other commitments
