**Position Summary**
Oversees and directs Administration and Maintenance departments and other areas of the warehouse. Tracks

warehouse budget. Maintains vendor agreements annually and all other certifications within the warehouse. Provides

prompt and courteous member service. Safety and workplace injury program

**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Develops, coaches, counsels, and directs Administration personnel
- Monitors employee performance and provides proactive feedback to promote teamwork and accountability
- Participates in the employment process by making recommendations for hiring, promotion, and termination
- Participates in Administration employee evaluations
- Responds to employee concerns using problem solving skills, tact, and discretion in accordance with the Costco

Employee Agreement and other applicable regulations
- Approves timecards and other reports
- Implements and upholds proper Administration and general safety and security procedures and standards
- Tracks warehouse budget
- Writes and issues purchase order and cheques
- Audits all expenses, including p-card transactions, Petty Cash and Cheque log, balances, and reports and discrepancies
- Reviews warehouse audits by department monthly
- Oversees safety meetings, implements in-house safety programs
- Oversees workers compensation and warehouse accident claims for employees and members
- Completes accident reports and sends Costco claim forms to appropriate parties
- Monitors all leave-of-absence cases including, but not limited to, worker’s compensation, and personal leave
- Coordinates acquisitions, repairs, and maintenance of office/facility equipment
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers
- Oversees the Return to Work Program
- Assists in front end duties and other departments where necessary.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
- Computer, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio, compactor, baler, cash machine, cash register, table top

hand-held scanners, carts and flatbeds.

**Knowledge/Skills**:
High School Certificate or higher
Return to Work (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Emergency Warden (or willingness to obtain)
**Google Suite (Docs, Spreadsheet, Slides), and Gmail expierence preferred**
Customer service, Leadership, employee relations or comparable experience
Robust communication, interpersonal, organisation and problem solving
skills, Basic math skills

Other specific requirements:
? Previous Managerial Experience ? Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

? Full COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindications certificate
- If successful, you will be required to undertake role & department specific training within specified timeframes
