This is a rare and excellent prospect for an experienced PM to take a lead role as a Design Manager/ Pre-Construction Manager to join a respected business.
The company has been in operation for 30 years and has built a solid reputation for delivering D&C; commercial/ industrial projects with values to $30m.
This role is a newly created role to essentially free up some time for their Estimating Manager and Construction Manager.
The role will see you:
Overseeing internal and external consultants, Design Documentation, Coordination with Architects, Engineers and Consultants
Liaising with the client to ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects, including, cost, constructability, operability, and maintainability.
Ensure compliance of the project design products with the Design Procedure.
Dealing with town planners
About you:
To be successful you will:
Ideally have experience as a Project Manager with a local principal contractor.
Have solid D&C; project experience.
Have commercial/ industrial project experience.
Have a creative and solutions focused mindset.
