Overview
Company: Konecranes and Demag. We are part of a global organisation with over 80 years of operation. With operations in over 50 countries worldwide, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania.
Responsibilities
Your role will include the regular maintenance and repair work on overhead cranes, and you will tackle breakdowns where your troubleshooting and technical skills will be put to use. The role involves regular travel to the Devonport location, and in addition to the hourly rate you will receive a Living Away From Home Allowance.
Qualifications
* A valid Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate & Restricted Electrical Licence.
* Current and valid Driver Licence.
* Working at Heights competency.
* Elevated Work Platform Ticket.
* Broad knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
* Ability to work with computer programs: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Demonstrates a high degree of organisational ability.
* Systematic problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional communication skills.
