Benefits Competitive salary Positive work environment Task & responsibilities Prepare a variety of breads and pastries from scratch Follow recipes and instructions accurately Mix, knead, mature, cut, mold and shape dough ensuring correct consistency Operate machines for rolling, molding, dough and cutting Monitor proofer and oven temperatures, and product appearance to determine optimal baking times Taking products from ovens Apply icing, fruit and sweet products Placing items on racks and counters for display Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met Maintain a clean a and organised work area Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Qualification & experience Tertiary qualifications in baking or pastry. Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
Minimum 1 years experience in commercial bakery/kitchen. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. About Company Bakers Delight is an established bakery located in Currimundi, QLD. We prepare a wide range of breads and pastries baked on-site daily.
