We are hiring in-person Educational Clinicians / Tutors to work at our Lindamood‐Bell Learning Centre in Double Bay, NSW. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment and teaching students of all ages to read and comprehend to their potential. No prior teaching experience is required; Lindamood‐Bell provides paid training, instructional materials, and all necessary equipment.
What You'll Do as an Educational Clinician / Tutor
* Provide one‐to‐one and small‐group instruction to in‐person and online students of various ages.
* Record notes about student performance while delivering engaging, structured lesson plans under the direction of Learning Centre leadership.
* Implement positive reinforcement strategies that maximise learning.
* Facilitate the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood‐Bell Academy students.
* Communicate positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
* Manage client records, both handwritten and electronic.
Position & Schedule Details
* Educational Clinician / Tutor work is performed on‐site at the Lindamood‐Bell Learning Centre in Double Bay, NSW.
* Available positions are casual, beginning in June.
* Monday through Friday availability is required.
* Learning Centre hours of operation: 8:00 AM through 6:00 PM.
* Scheduling changes may be made based on the needs of the Learning Centre.
* Paid training generally occurs Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, for two weeks.
* Post‐training hours may vary week to week according to the scheduling needs of the Learning Centre.
* Internship credits may be available.

Required Qualifications
* Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, early childhood education certificate, or current enrollment in a degree program (students welcome).
* Passion for helping others succeed academically.
* Ability to connect and engage with students of all ages while showcasing effective task‐management capabilities in each instructional session.
* Strong reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
* Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
* Tutoring, teaching, or classroom experience.
* Background in education, child development, or literacy.
* Experience working with children or students.
Pay & Benefits
The hourly rate for this position is AUD$31.19 plus superannuation.
