The role requires a proven leader with a history of successful team building. Time management, successful employee development, and the ability to stand up new processes and procedures on the production floor are essential to meeting customer demand and performance goals. The chosen candidate will be responsible for all dock-to-dock commercial manufacturing related activities in a high precision assembly environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, implement, and oversee policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.Dock-to-Dock control and tracking of inventory from raw goods to finished product.Organize manufacturing activities into efficient and measurable operations.Receive and understand demand data, create level loaded work schedules, and meet delivery targets.Communicate manufacturing outputs and key performance metrics to upper management.Evaluate employee performance and foster employee growth through goal setting, periodic review, and analysis.Required QualificationsDemonstrated leadership capability with a clear history of meeting production related performance goals.Experience developing and publishing metric driven performance reports.Commitment to employee development with 4+ years of experience managing direct reports in inventory management and assembly operations.Experience managing inventory from raw goods to finished products.Experience communicating, implementing, and monitoring new policies and procedures within a production environment.Demonstrated experience of successful Continuous Improvement activity in a manufacturing environment.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline.Direct experience with Six Sigma, 5s, Lean Manufacturing or other improvement tools.5+ years of work experience in an ISO or NADCAP certified organization.Direct experience with EHS policies and procedures.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management, Manufacturing, and Training
