Docent (Animal Experience Guide) and Park - All Rounders
Enjoy the outdoors by working with Australia's unique wildlife. If you are passionate about animals, nature, and creating unforgettable experiences for visitors, we're currently offering two exciting and rewarding volunteer roles that allow you to get involved, give back, and be part of something special.
Docent (Visitor Engagement Volunteer)
All‐Rounder (Wildlife Support Volunteer)
What You'll Get to Do
Visitor Engagement (Customer Service)
* Helping at our Meet the Wombat & Friends sessions
* Chatting with visitors in the kangaroo enclosure
* Assisting during our Meet the Koalas experiences
Animal Care (Animal Husbandry)
* Preparing food and enrichment activities
* Cleaning enclosures and caring for both native and farm animals
* Keeping our animal kitchen tidy and functional
Park Maintenance (Grounds‐Keeping)
* Raking paths, weeding gardens, mulching beds
* Picking up litter, emptying bins, and washing windows
While you will have the opportunity to work closely with some of our amazing ambassador animals, this is not a cuddle‐all‐day role. The work can be physically demanding, often dirty, and takes place rain or shine. But for those with a positive attitude and a love for wildlife, it's truly one of the most fulfilling experiences you can have.
