Senior Management Accountant, Queensland Health

Bring your financial expertise to a role where your insight genuinely matters. As a Senior Management Accountant with Central Queensland Health, you'll work alongside Executive Directors and senior leaders, providing trusted advice that shapes clinical, operational and financial performance across our region. Based in Rockhampton or Gladstone, this AO6 role offers the rare opportunity to combine complex, strategic accounting with meaningful public impact. You'll analyse trends, manage budgets, identify risks and help leaders see the full financial picture — all in service of delivering great care to Central Queenslanders. If you're ready to apply your skills in a collaborative environment where purpose, balance and professional respect come together, we'd love to hear from you.

At Central Queensland Health, finance is more than numbers — it's about enabling care. As part of our Management Accounting team, you'll support hospital and community services across the region, helping leaders make informed, confident decisions in a complex healthcare environment.

You'll work within a supportive Finance Division that values integrity, collaboration and continuous improvement. While this role has no direct reports, you'll mentor Management Accountants, contribute to system improvements, and be a key financial partner to your assigned business units.

With strong conditions, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to investing in our people, this is a role where your expertise is recognised — and your work has lasting impact.
