The role: Based at our office in Mile End, the Accounts Payable Officer role is responsible for supporting the accounts payable functions to ensure the payment of creditors, and undertaking other accounts payable administrative tasks as required.
What you’ll do:
* High volume data entry of invoices
* Allocation and processing of creditor invoices
* Ensuring timely and accurate entry of approved invoices to correct account codes
* Review communication through the accounts payable team mailbox
* Filing, archiving, reporting and document control for accounts payable
* Creation, maintenance, and reconciliation of creditors
* Ensure strong process controls are adhered to and maintained
* Vendor statement reconciliation and review
About you!
You will be detail-oriented with a motivation to make a difference, with strong communication skills to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
* Knowledge of accounts payable functions and processes
* Strong Microsoft Office Suite and financial system skills
* High degree of accuracy in your work and attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
* Collaborative approach to your work and a supportive team player
* High level interpersonal skills
* To be passionate about supporting older people to live a Good Life
* APolice Check for Aged Care less than 12 months old
* Previous experience in home care service support or other supportive services in the community
