DESCRIPTION:
The client is seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant Intern for a 3 month internship. This role provides a valuable opportunity for a recent graduate or current accounting student to gain hands‐on experience in various accounting tasks and learn from experienced professionals in a fast‐paced work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INDICATIVE):
* Prepare financial statements and reports.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Process accounts payable and receivable.
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
* Support tax preparation and compliance.
* Research accounting regulations and standards.
* Assist with ad‐hoc accounting tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
