About the Opportunity
We are seeking a customer-focused Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our dedicated Retirement Living Maintenance Team. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working 3 days per week across two of our wonderful sites:
* Bribe Cove Retirement Living (Bongaree)
* Glasshouse Views Retirement Living (Beerwah)
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our Retirement Living communities are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas to a high standard.
* Perform planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, and general landscaping tasks.
* Ensure all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and address gardening needs.
* Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.
* Collaborate with the facility team to create outdoor spaces that support resident well-being.
* Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Undertake general maintenance tasks as required

To be successful, you will have
* Experience in general maintenance and groundskeeping (aged care experience preferred)
* Mower & whipper snipper experience essential
* Current valid drivers' licence
* Australian work rights
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Flu Vaccination (recommended)
* A pre-employment medical assessment may be required
* Willingness to participate in a shared on-call roster to ensure continuity of service
