Fraser Coast Regional Council is entering a new phase under a refreshed Executive Leadership Team and is seeking a Director Organisational Services and Transformation to play a central role in lifting organisational performance and capability.
This is a pivotal enterprise leadership role with accountability for aligning finance, governance, people, systems and service delivery to support a growing region and an ambitious long-term agenda.
The mandate is clear: strengthen financial discipline, improve operating performance and embed the organisational capability required to deliver sustainable growth and community outcomes.
This portfolio spans Financial Services, Business Transformation, Assets & Information, Corporate Services and People, Safety & Wellbeing - functions critical to performance, accountability and community trust.
Reporting to the CEO, you will work across the Executive Leadership Team to drive integration, performance and execution. This is not a traditional corporate services role - it is a whole-of-organisation leadership position focused on transformation, alignment and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive financial discipline and improve operating performance across the organisation
* Lead enterprise transformation, including digital enablement and service improvement
* Strengthen governance, risk, audit and councillor support frameworks
* Align strategy, resources and delivery to improve organisational performance
* Build a high-performing, safe and capable workforce
* Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver Council’s long-term agenda
About You
You are an experienced executive leader from a complex, politically governed environment, with a track record of improving organisational performance and leading enterprise-wide transformation.
You bring strong financial and commercial acumen, governance expertise and the ability to align people, systems and strategy to deliver results. You operate with credibility and influence, building trust with Councillors, executives and stakeholders while driving accountability and performance.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are expected; postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
