Who Were Looking For

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life.
All you need is:
A friendly, approachable attitude
A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Good communication skills
A love for people, stories, and community spirit
Volunteers must be 18 years or older and either hold or be willing to obtain a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
*Applicants under 18 may apply with written permission from a parent or guardian*.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Guest Experience Volunteer, your key duties will include:
Greeting and assisting passengers before, during, and after the train journey
Providing friendly and informative customer service
Sharing historical and local knowledge to enrich the guest experience
Ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the journey
Supporting boarding and disembarking procedures
Assisting with special events and themed journeys

Currently, train services run on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with additional event trains throughout the year.
