We are currently looking for experienced professionals to assist with clients in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing direct support and care, including meal preparation, domestic assistance, and client transport.
The role involves empowering participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. This includes providing direct support in a 1:1 and 2:1 capacity in accordance with the individual's care plan and policies.
Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation, such as shift notes, progress notes, behavior charts, and incident reports is also an essential part of the role. Additionally, following company policies and procedures is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete all tasks relevant to support work
* Empower participants to achieve their goals
* Provide direct support in a 1:1 and 2:1 capacity
* Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
* Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats
* NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
* Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
* Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques
