Seeking reliable fit Yard hand/Van driver to join our team in Rockhampton
This is a casual position,
Potentially move into fulltime position for the right person
As a Yard hand/van driver
You will play a key role in our road transport operations, ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of goods across the central Queensland region
What you’ll be doing
Operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials in a safe and responsible manner
Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
Maintain accurate records of driving time, delivery schedules, and any incidents
Provide exceptional customer service to clients by ensuring on-time and damage-free deliveries
Help out with yard duties, cleaning, re stacking pallets, loading and unloading of vehicles etc
What we’re looking for
Valid open drivers licence with a safe driving record
HR Licence would be a bonus but not essential
Forklift Licence would be a bonus but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Commitment to safe driving practices and attention to detail
