About the role
Arista Tile & Stone is seeking a qualified and experienced Tiler to join our team. As a Qualified Tiler, you will be responsible for the installation of tiles in both residential and commercial projects, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets industry standards.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and laying tiles to floors, walls, and other surfaces
* Preparing surfaces for tiling with accurate levelness of screed
* Cutting and shaping tiles as required to fit around obstacles and edges
* Mixing and applying adhesives and grouts
* Ensuring the alignment and levelness of tiles
* Providing quality workmanship and paying close attention to detail
* Working collaboratively with other tradespeople on site
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in tiling or equivalent experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Tiler
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of tiling techniques and materials
* Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
