Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Technician, located in Eagle Farm, QLD. The Security Technician will be responsible for installing, upgrading, servicing, and maintaining security alarm systems, access control systems, intercoms, and HD/CCTV camera systems. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting issues, ensuring network security, adhering to occupational health standards, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician will also collaborate with other professionals, such as architects, builders, and electricians, on large renovation and construction projects.
Qualifications
* Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining alarm systems
* Knowledge of network security and cybersecurity principles
* Understanding of occupational health standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant certifications are a plus
* Experience with commercial installations is beneficial
