Job Details:We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex ICT initiatives within a large Commonwealth portfolio.This role sits within an enterprise ICT environment delivering initiatives across artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and digital platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists to analyse needs, shape solutions, and support delivery across multiple projects.The role requires strong analytical capability, mature stakeholder engagement skills, and proven experience delivering outcomes in Agile digital delivery environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and model current and future business processes, systems, and information management environmentsAnalyse data-related requirements, user journeys, and information flowsFacilitate stakeholder workshops and engagement activities to elicit, analyse, and validate business requirementsTranslate business needs into fit-for-purpose technical and functional requirementsDevelop high-quality artefacts including:Business requirements specificationsBusiness casesFunctional and non-functional specificationsProcess maps and data modelsUser stories and acceptance criteriaService design artefactsCommunication and change materialsReports and briefingsConduct investigations and technical research aligned with departmental policies and legislationEvaluate solution options (custom and configured) from a strategic and whole-of-department perspectiveWork effectively in Agile delivery environments supporting complex digital systems, including web-based platformsEssential CriteriaCandidates must demonstrate all of the following:Experience facilitating workshops and analysing complex information from multiple sources to define business and user needs, identify inefficiencies, and translate findings into technical specifications (e.g. requirements, process maps, data models, use cases)Experience developing clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria that enable effective development and testingExperience working on complex digital projects in Agile environments, managing interdependencies and supporting delivery workflowsExcellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skillsDesirable CriteriaRelevant experience implementing Information Technology ServicesExperience documenting requirements for SitecoreExperience using Azure DevOps for user story creation and acceptance criteria trackingExperience or knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure Cloud, and Google Analytics
