About the Position:
Our client is looking for a Litigation Lawyer (approximately 4–6 years PQE) to join their Brisbane disputes team.
You will work across a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, including:
* Contractual and commercial disputes
* Corporations Act and shareholder disputes
* Competition and consumer law claims
* Regulatory investigations and enforcement matters
* Insolvency and restructuring-related litigation
* Property, leasing and construction-related disputes
Depending on your experience, you will be encouraged to take full carriage of files with appropriate supervision and support. You will manage end-to-end litigation tasks such as: pleadings and evidence, advices, briefing counsel, strategy development, interlocutory applications, settlement negotiations and mediations.
You'll work with a diverse client base – ASX-listed companies, national and global corporates, professional services firms, financial institutions and substantial private businesses – on matters that often have national commercial impact.
This role is ideal for a litigator who enjoys running files, thinking strategically about disputes and wants a clear, supported pathway into senior roles and ultimately partnership.
Key Requirements:
* Admission as a Lawyer in Australia (QLD)
* Around 4–6 years' PQE in litigation / dispute resolution (Private practice)
* Solid experience in commercial litigation (mid–top tier or strong boutique experience highly regarded)
* Strong drafting, advisory and advocacy preparation skills
* Confidence managing client relationships and running matters appropriate to your level
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor junior lawyers over time
* Genuine interest in building a long-term career in commercial disputes within a great platform
