In this role, you will drive the digital components of the Council's marketing campaigns while developing and implementing strategies to optimise content effectiveness and increase the uptake of digital media. With a focus on enhancing user retention and acquisition, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the council's online presence.
**Your daily**:
- Develop and implement social media plans, track progress, and produce reports
- Boost social media engagement through subscription management and effective strategies
- Craft top-quality, targeted social media content that resonates with audiences
- Design captivating graphics and images for use across various channels
- Manage AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter ads and promotions
- Analyze digital media activity, suggest improvements, and report on results
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide guidance and support for social media campaigns
**What you have done, so far**:
- 2+ years of experience in managing brand presence and digital communities
- Skilled in creating and managing eDMs and databases
- Proficient in handling social media accounts and advertising campaigns
- Intermediate-level graphic design skills using Adobe tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven editing abilities
- Skilled in creating engaging digital content for specific audiences
- Basic video filming, production, and editing skills
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and emerging digital technologies, including analytics
