Cranfield Group is representing a national infrastructure contractor who is for an Engineering Manager for their asset care team.
**Role**
- You will be guiding a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and crafting engineering solutions applicable across a spectrum of industries including Mining, Oil & Gas, Power, and Infrastructure.- Manage our Structural Integrity, Materials, Mechanical, and Reliability engineering team
- Provide leadership and support to Team Leaders and Project Engineers
- Ensure technical compliance with the Professional Engineers Act
- Foster business growth by cultivating job opportunities and nurturing client relationships
- Review proposals and technical reports for engineering consulting projects
- Mentor and facilitate the ongoing career development of team members
- Coordinate integrated service delivery for clients by collaborating with other services such as NDT, Condition Monitoring, laboratory services, and Mechanical Testing
- Assume financial accountability for Profit & Loss within the Business Units
- Drive the execution of current and future Engineering Group business strategies
**Experience**
- Degree educated and chartered
- Background in a similar role leading a team of engineers
- Experience managing teams of between 5-10 direct reports
- Comprehensive experience asset integrity, testing and inspection
- Exceptional people management skills
- Comfortable is a customer/client facing role
- **Australian working rights are required to be considered**
