Organised and tech savvy, the eCommerce Specialist will be responsible for Marketplaces and Trade Marketing supporting both the Marketing and Sales departments to help manage and grow product sales via marketplaces, wholesale partnerships, retail and affiliates. This new role forms part of a growing Marketing Team in an exciting e-commerce and wholesale business - with an ever changing, exciting product pipeline.
Based in Pyrmont, our client is a 100% Australian owned company offering the latest in Direct Response and As Seen on TV consumer products. They aim to provide the most innovative products to consumers from an extensive network of contacts both around Australia and abroad. Products are advertised via Television, Digital, Social and Print media and sell direct to consumer and into an extensive retail network.
**WHAT IS THE ROLE?**
Working with the Marketing & Sales Teams, the eCommerce marketplace specialist will assist each team by efficiently and effectively coordinating Marketplace Platforms and associated marketing initiatives, affiliate sales campaigns, and retail and trade marketing tasks, helping achieve business objectives and maximise sales, campaign and project results.
With the guidance of departments heads for Marketing, Digital Media and Sales, you will:
- Create and coordinate marketplace listings, promotions and advertising tasks for Amazon, eBAY, Harvey Norman, BBQs Galore and more.
This includes the creation of new product listings (collating, entering/uploading all content), listing troubleshooting and resolution management, daily monitoring of Marketplace platforms, setting up and updating offers and promotions, utilising required marketing platforms and technologies to manage listings, reviewing customer review/comments etc.
- Assist Sales and Retail team by coordinating any required content, assets and deliverables for retail partners. Inclusive of the development of proposals, presentations, reports, and liaising with external marketing teams for key accounts to support retail/wholesale initiatives.
- Assist Head of Digital Media with the creation, monitoring and administration of affiliate campaigns. Work with 3rd party stakeholders and agencies to onboard new affiliates, execute campaigns, provide reporting, and escalate issues. Inclusive of launching sales campaigns, requesting coupon generation etc.
- Brief designers/content producers and proof, test and coordinate approval processes for marketplace, affiliate, or retail/wholesale assets, listings and campaigns/promotions
- Request, collate, file and share content and assets to key stakeholders as required for each department
- Assist with the coordination of Marketplace Counterfeit program; managing listing take downs
- Assist with finance and invoice administration
- Assist with key reporting requirements for each department

**Ideally you will bring**:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar e-commerce role (marketplace coordination specifically). Amazon and eBAY experience
- Have experience managing Marketplace listings and promotions
- Experience in trade marketing or affiliate marketing a plus!
- Be competent with Office 365 Suite programs
- Some experience working with website CMSs (preferred but not mandatory)
- Have a tertiary education in Marketing, Comms or Advertising (preferred but not mandatory)
